Today I came home after work (the first day of school)and went right to the ratties. Chloe was in their fleece tepee. She came out when I opened the cage door and was trying to get out to see me. I just held her and for almost two hours she struggled. She even started seizing towards the end. She died with me and Alex cuddling and loving her and two of her "sisters" with her. Poor old baby. I think she waited until I was home.
She was the best rattie I could have ever asked for. She loved yoghies and cream cheese. She loved to give kisses and would kiss you for hours if you'd let her. She fought a battle with a Girl Scout cookie box and won. She would cuddle with me in my scarf and would be content to stay there while I worked on the computer. She'd brux the loudest of any of the girls and would get into some crazy bruxing when I would brux back at her. She was so amazingly beautiful with her red eyes and cute brown nose. I'm going to miss her so much I can't stand it.
I love you Chloe. May you have all the chocolate, yoghies, cream cheese and banana stars you can eat at the rainbow bridge. May you have a nice soft hammock to share with Sadie.
