The fandom continues to explode with squeeing over JC's concerts. It's pretty exciting, even for someone who wasn't there and isn't going to be there. I'm eternally grateful to people like stamplet, who make available clips of the goings-on for those of us who don't get to see it firsthand. Now I can squee too!
Yeah, like I ever really needed an excuse.
I'm waiting until I get all the clips downloaded before I watch, so I can watch them all back-to-back and just turn into a shivering pile of goo. In the meantime.....how's about I bitch about ER?
Seriously, nothing? Romano got a freakin' helicopter dropped on him, and nothing?!?! I don't get it. Yes, he was a bastard, but I expected someone to say it. Elizabeth seemed to be upset about it all, but everybody else was like "Romano's dead. Huh. I'm trying to work here." What?! I wanted to see the reactions. I at least wanted to see the aftermath. And this was it?!
I figured, if anything, we'd get some storyline revolving around that annoying redheaded prick (Morris?). Romano was the only one who realized he was high on the job, but before he could tell anyone....well, yeah, helicopter. So I figured somebody would make a comment about why Morris had refused to help out, and just sat there the whole time, saying Romano had told him to sit and not touch anything. But he didn't even show up anywhere. What?
I continue to wish all kinds of death and destruction on Sam's child. The kid stole a finger, for chrissakes. I've been saying every week, Why is this stupid child allowed to wander around the hospital unattended? Oh, look, he thinks Luka's pretty. Well, so do I, and I don't see them offering me a front-row seat to all their vaginal exams.
I've been liking Abby, but now that Carter is coming back, I'm not sure where that's going to go. Because, from the few sporadic times I watched it while Abby and Carter were together, I really did not care about either of them.
And next week! A Very Special Holiday Episode....revolving around Carter! Whywhywhy? Just when I finally, 10 years after the fact, get into this show, they ruin it by bringing him back. And seemingly revolving an entire episode around him! Whywhywhy?
However, drunk!Neela was fun. I was quite amused when she said something about "intercourse", and everybody ignored it, and then she gave Abby this confused look two seconds later and went "I meant discourse" and Abby just nodded sympathetically.
Since we're discussing TV I watched last night......I missed Friends, which isn't anything unusual, or heartbreaking, for that matter. It's one of the shows where, if I watch it, I find it hilarious and like it a lot, but yet I can't be bothered to make myself watch it every week. Not like Scrubs.
Scrubs! However....why was Tara Reid's appearance so hyped this time around? She showed up, like, twice, and the first time was merely to say "Wanna have sex?" She was pretty much just a blip in the episode. So.....why bother?
I also didn't get how JD stealing all of Elliott's codes is obviously a sign that he isn't over her and still has feelings for her. Wha?
However, I still have mad mad love for Dr Cox, and I still love his interactions with Carla. And The Todd showed up! I love The Todd.
I've pretty much come to realize that the whole appeal of Will & Grace, for me, is Megan Mulally. I adore Karen Walker. I find Will and Grace themselves fairly amusing, but I'm there for Karen. She even makes Jack highly entertaining, and I've come to the conclusion that, without Karen, I'd find Jack to be an annoying character. I'm still mad that they dropped the possible Will/Jack hookup, but I guess it makes sense. After all, where could you go after that?

- I'm very okay with Zander in a suit. I'm very okay with it. My mind went straight to the gutter when he came onscreen, and I don't think it's come back yet.
- So far, Justus has a conscience, knows the difference between right and wrong, and even thinks about taking a vow of silence (although Jason's powerful Borg gaze quickly ended that). In other words - he's completely different from any character on that show right now. I'm shocked and amazed. And placing bets on how long it takes the writers to remedy that.
- Even when Faith is threatening a character I love, like Skye, she is still absolutely adorable. I don't get how all of these characters just fluff her off and act like she's not a threat, though. Do they not realize that Faith has bigger balls that Sonny and Lorrrrrenzo put together? She murdered most of the Five Families, for chrissakes. And they're all like "Oh gee, it's Faith" like she's just some petty annoyance. Yeah. Wait 'til she poisons your grandmother.
- Brian and Courtney had at least two conversations today that did not involve Courtney snarking, and Brian being holier-than-thou. This is promising. I also suspect that it will be ruined before we know it.
- I sure do hope Alexis and Cameron are having fun in that warehouse with AJ, Lydia, Tony, Amy, Coleman, Dara.......etc etc.
