Another Scrubs two-parter.

I think I was a little bit ambivalent about Scrubs coming back. It had been that long since I last saw it, I had kind of forgotten how much I loved it. Like, I knew I had loved it, but I wasn't sure if I would love it as much as I now love Earl or The Office. Plus, I've been feeling a little snarky about how Scrubs being on Tuesdays moved the Earl/Office combo to Thursdays, making that day even more hectic for me. (And yes, I know that it was really more a case of NBC wanting to capitalize on Earl's good ratings and possibly recapture the must-see TV lineup. But I never said I was logical).

But now that I'm watching Scrubs again, I'm reminded of how much I do love this show. I'm even really enjoying Elliott, which is interesting as she has never really been my favorite. She was funny, but a little bit went a long way. While I could enjoy everyone else's negative qualities, Elliott always seemed kind of whiny and annoying to me. But so far this season, she hasn't gotten on my nerves at all. In fact, the moment I laughed at most tonight was her Mexican-apple-thief fantasy. Bwah.

I've always been a little meh in regards to JD/Elliott. Maybe because up until recently, I was always kind of meh in regards to Elliott. I don't know. But now that they're roommates, I'm more into it. I don't know if I'd want to see them screw up their friendship for a romance yet again, but I'm having a good time watching them get closer to each other. Elliott carried him across the finish line! He knows she only likes red wine! Awww.

Part of why I love Scrubs is because something that might stretch out too long on another show works out just fine here. Like the Kung-Fu Fighting scene. It went on forever, but I laughed the whole time. Then again, that left less time for the whole Elliott-Carla-Cox-Jordan bar-hopping scene. So that's a disappointment.

I felt so bad for poor Mr. Morrison. I guess that was the point, but he was such a nice guy. I'm glad that Cox was upset by it, because I'm all for little reminders that Cox is human, too.

Good to know that Doug is still around. I wondered if, now that we have Keith, we would see less of Doug. Or The Todd, for that matter. So I'm pleased to still see them.
