Hah! Ronson's into girls! I knew it!
Well, I suggested it awhile back, rather tongue-in-cheek - suggesting she get a psycho crush on Rita. But I never imagined that the writers actually might have her go in that direction ("that direction" meaning gay, or at least bisexual). I just figured she would eventually end up being Clark's newest love match. And hey, maybe it can still happen.....not that I particularly see it myself, but oh well.
So, yes. Major hilarity, there. And she was kinda flirty with her "informant", and for once, a lot more loose and less robotic than she'd been previously. So, yay - I'm all for Kelly liking girls if it makes her more interesting, which obviously it does.
But, back to things that are not interesting, namely - Rita. Seriously, does she consistently have a stick wedged up her ass? I've seen the episodes where she and Clark first hook up, and she seemed kinda playful and sweet then. Not my favorite character, by any means, but way better than she is now. I get that she was worried that the case would fall apart, since Kelly obviously had a past with the informant chick, but she basically sat there the whole time curling her lip in disgust. Come on, now. You mean to tell me that, in her time at the 15th, and in her time at Vice, she never once encountered a lesbian? I find that hard to believe.
I read recently that Eddie Gibson is off the show. I found Eddie rather amusing (I didn't see his first stint at the 15th), and I'm kinda sad to see him go. Especially if they're planning on keeping Rita around. I figured that, because of being renewed for one more season, they'd make some cuts. But they haven't given Eddie too much of a chance to work out in his current position, and in my opinion, Rita's been there for how many seasons now, and she's still not clicking?
Ah, well. As long as they leave my Medavoy alone. Well, you know - and MPG, obv. But I seriously doubt he would be out, anywho.
Back to the finale.....Andy was so cute and proud over the new baby. Aww.
The Clark/Devlin story.....I was pretty much expecting that she would end up dead. I guess I just thought there'd be more build-up to it. I know they had a lot of stories going on last night, but I thought we'd get a little more obvious sign of impending danger. It was like, one brief scene, and - bam! - she's dead. Ah, well. And Clark breaking down in Andy's arms.....awww.
Baldwin's story...I was a little surprised that Valerie wasn't a little more involved, but I guess that was probably also due to time constraints. I'm assuming this will be a story that will lead into next season. I hope Baldwin doesn't get his hopes set too high, and suddenly Michael backtracks and decides to make it work with his father.
And maybe next season, Medavoy will get a real story! :-)
