The Catch 22 of Democracy

How many people out there do you trust to elect a competent government? 80% in any given population will be nitwits, and they'll necessarily outvote the remaining 20%. Furthermore, the 20% who might have a clue don't matter in the first place, because any candidates for the government will attempt to appeal to the clueless 80%.

That is all I am going to say about the elections.
