Light Grenades!
So, I went and bought that Weird Al CD, but I also bought the new Incubus CD.
I'm in love with two songs: "Dig" & "Oil and Water".
There's something about the chords they use and the high notes Brandon hits. I cried the first time I sat down and listen to Dig (seriously). It's noisy the first time you drift through the album, but with the words in front of you, it all makes sense.
Oil and water is gorgeous. Those bells/triangles in there - Dave Matthews used it in Crash - and the tremendously slow-paced build-up is powerful. My favourite is when it dies down before the last verse... and then with but a pick-up on the drums, it goes right back into a full-strength all-out climatic finish.
Let's just CALL IT! CAALLLL IT! CAAALLLLLL IT! OHHH-ohhhh, What it is!
