ENDGAME

Wow, I finally made it to endgame. It only took me about a month of break to get off my ass and do it. Still not quite at the end and then I get to replay it! Yeah!

Thoughts so far?

TAAAAAAAAAAAANITH. <333333333333 I did not expect her to be quite so useful. I knew I was going to bring her to endgame for sentimental reasons but holy crap she turned out very well. I've tried several times to do something about her but nothing pans out. Oh well, she'll get her fifteen hundred words of fame one day.

Elincia and Tibarn is very interesting to me (I still like ElinciaxGeoffrey and ElinciaxRenning) but interesting is interesting is interesting. What would come out of that? Political drama? Do I really want to use that plot? Ahhhh . . . no. Older!Elincia was explored in a doodle, and that was fun. The adventures of Tibarn and seventy year old Elincia! I bet she could still kick your ass!

All of the Crimean knights are fun. Backstory on Bastian! I have a feeling that he and Renning go way back. Maybe backstory on the whole thing, on Elincia's life before the war? The intrigues before then? Ramon and Renning must have been born pretty far apart. Why would Elincia's existence cause chaos? Hmmm. Some sort of clause, I guess? Horrible circumstances?

Let's say that once upon a time, there was a king of Crimea, the father of both Ramon and Renning. We'll call him . . . Malcom Ridell Crimea.

King Malcom chose to marry a girl of a minor house of Begnion house through an arranged marriage. This woman, Simona, bore Ramon Ridell Crimea. However, many years later, she died after being thrown from a regular horse. Malcom remarried, this time for love--however his new wife, Rosaline, was a daughter of the house Clauvos, a powerful but dwindling family that opposed the house Ridell. They stipulated that, should Thear, Rosaline have a child, that child should belong to  house Clauvos. Sometime after, Renning Clauvos Crimea was born.

Ramon was named heir and when Malcom died, he was crowned king. However, he and his wife were unable to conceive an heir of their own. For many years, there was much concern in the council. The now ancient Lord Iago Clauvos cleverly suggested seventeen year old Prince Renning to be named Duke of Crimea and heir apparent. Ramon, much older than his half brother and aware that Crimea needed an heir, agreed. The house of Clauvos would be the next ruling family. His own family seethed, and it seemed for a time that there would be discord in the court--however, in time, Renning was recognized as Crimea's best interest.

Then, one day, Thear, the queen, told Ramon in confidence that she was pregnant.

A child of the Ridell line would have reinstigated the settled conflict of inheritance. Clauvos, when secretly informed, was enraged.  He swore to challenge Ramon's right to rule if he reneged, with the full force of his allies on the council. Ramon knew that his threat was real. He promised to Lord Clauvos that he would not officially recognize Elincia as a daughter of the royal family, except to the highest levels of power. She would be a secret. Elincia, when she was born, was fostered out to the house Delbray, to live in a villa with the Sir  Aster and Lady Rachael, and be raised alongside his children, Lucia and Geoffrey.

Most surprisingly in this tale was the interest that Renning took in his troublesome niece. Renning, who often had more free time than his brother, spent much of it with Elincia. It was often assumed by the other nobles that the fostered little girl in the Delbray house was the illegitimate daughter of Renning, who never said anything to confirm or deny.

Also, Pirate!Mist. Avast!

Uh I think this means fic? Maybe? Even "Throne" is slow going. I've decided to outline the fucker because it's so complicated. Well I tend to write things down before I forget. Some small oneshotty drama would be nice.
