I moved this back a day because Sunday was a 0% productivity day for me (so APRIL 13-18 GOGOGO). Due to several elements out of my control, for example, being blazed the entire weekend, and partying, and some other FML incidents, I wasn't able to get back to Richmond until late. Then I stayed up playing the guitar until 4am as my body was still on party-time and roomy was out so I could jam.
So today was officially day 1. It was also fail. It's hard to all of the sudden break all bad habits and dive into something like this. I would say I was about 30% productive.
- I woke up late (11:30)
- Tried to schedule my day, which isn't as effective as planning everything out the night before.
- distracted by guitar/youtube
- Went to advisor's office late (12:50, instead of 12:30, but they were completely booked before I got there anyways). Scheduled an appt for Friday morning at 8:30am, but I'm gonna try to line up for the walkins at 10am tomorrow just to try to get this done earlier.
- Put in 3:45 of poker for just under 3k hands. Wanted to get 4k in, but I was playing bad for the last 1k hands, so I shut it down. So probably booking a loss for today, but I'll be playing the 2AM tournament tonight and hope for a decent cash.
- Almost left to go to Chipotle with this girl, because I have no self control, but luckily she flaked on me.
- Got distracted by the usual internet bs. (Super long, but interesting article about
Dubai though.) Mom wanted my opinion on some houses that she's looking into. They want to move to MD. Youtube. Probably wasted 2-3 hours there.
- FORGOT TO GO TO CLASS? WTF! didn't even purposely skip. argh WTF
- Did dishes.
- Did laundry.
- Quick kitchen clean. Left my roommate's mess for her to clean up. Annoying habit of leaving wrappers/boxes out after cooking. I've observed that she leaves things out in the kitchen for 5-6 days on average. There's a cut avocado sitting on the counter. 4 days and counting.
- p90x plyometrics. D: it's gonna burn in the morning.
Irked cause I was on a small dose of meds today which was clearly ineffective.
Before sleep tonight: Do IHRM HW, Read 50 pages of "blink", deal with financial aid docs
Tomorrow's tentative schedule:
930: wake, morning ritual
1000: breakfast
1030: camp out at advisers for appt (urgently need to get into a class for fall that is closed?) while waiting, finish reading "blink." speak to grad advisers
1100-1215: drop by class sometime to pick up project sheet.
130: hopefully will be done by then. eat lunch
200: training vid
300: grind
500: pack food, go to class
1000: go to erick's for p90x (cause I don't have equip)
1130: shower, eat, blog, put shit up on ebay, write letter, figure out what to cook on wed, watch more training vids, study stat, guitar
200: play the 20k guar tourney, or just pass out
Now that is a loaded schedule. 100% tuesday? GOGOGO!
EDIT: IT'S 5AM. I JUST PLAYED THAT TOURNY FOR 3 HOURS AND MADE THE LAST MONEY SPOT FOR $19 PROFIT FML!!!
hw completed, read 4 pages of book. tomorrow may suck.
