-is gonna try to use her lj as an actual JOURNAL from now on, lol-
Today was the seniors' last day. We did something called a "Senior Walk", where the Seniors walk down the halls while the rest of the students stand along the sides of the halls, cheering them on. A couple of them ran up and gave me hugs. I was happy for them yet sad at the same time; some of them were great role models and nice people, and I'll really miss them.
It also made me think about my own schooling future. I'm a freshman right now, but school's almost over and I'll be a sophomore next year. What will things be like when I'm a senior on the last day of school? Will I still have the same group of friends? Will I be living somewhere else? Will I be going to the college that I currently want to go to, and in the same field that I'm interested in right now?
Only time will tell, I guess. For now, I think I'll just enjoy my youth and plan to make my summer as awesome as possible!
Speaking about awesome things and summer... since we have a 3 day weekend this week, two of my friends and I planned a camping trip. We're heading over to Port Sanilac, Michigan, on the coast of Lake Huron. It should be awesome, since I LOVE camping and the last time I did it (which was two years ago), I had one of the best times of my life. The weather is supposed to be perfect, too; mid-to-high 70s and sunny for the majority of the weekend. I hope it will be face-meltingly awesome and fun.
