we don't want a monster taking over

Today is weird. Already.

Not that much has happened yet, but it's a fair assessment if I call it weird now.

Not too weird either. Just busy.

I'll explain...

I woke up at 11:30 or so, and my roommate was nowhere to be found. Sometimes I swear he sleeps in other people's dorms.

(His 'girlfriends' woke me up at 4:30 two nights ago, knocking at the door to talk to him, and basically the whole deal sucked completely, and I don't feel like talking about it. But basically, I lost a lot of sleep that night.)

I felt a little sick this morning, which isn't cool.. my sinuses are being retarded.
I got dressed, checked my email and whatnot, then went downstairs to do laundry (with my laundry).. etc etc. It took awhile, I had to drag all of my clothes downstairs in a bag, and while walking down the hall I saw someone's dry erase board (a lot of people have them up at their doors in case people want to leave them messages) and there was a picture of Ey Steve on it, from Homestar Runner. So, naturally, I drew a little arrow next to him and wrote "Ey! Steve!" ... when I would later return from doing laundry, the person whose room that is wrote "yaay!" next to it. So I guess they're excited that someone else recognizes Homestar Runner. Special.

This photograph is proof:

(-407 is me.)

Anyway.
Today I took a test for anthropology online and got a 9 out of 10 on it. Considering I didn't study at all, that's pretty good.
And I looked some stuff up online.. but come on, who wouldn't? It's a glame class anyway. (gay + lame = glame)

I have a buttload of music theory homework to do, and I also have trumpet studio tonight. Yesterday's lesson (I had a trumpet lesson yesterday because I "missed" one last week on tuesday) was pretty awful, since the whole thing was just a guilt trip on me.. there was this meridian arts group thing (a very famous brass quintet) that came by last thursday, but I didn't go to see them. Thus, my trumpet professor is pissed off at me and demands that I practice more and do some other stuff to make up for my insolence.
Glame.
First off, I had a crapload of homework on thursday. Second, I wanted to play Smash Brothers that day. And so I did. So butt out, shlomo.

The day turned out a little weird, as my friends and I went free running (hardcore parkour) around campus and one of our friends started to get really detached from us. Literally and emotionally. He's going through some personal stuff at the moment, I think, so we're all worried about him, since we've never seen him so down before. But I think he'll be alright.
And we did get some cool pictures out of the parkour session.

I'm actually jumping backwards. I have other pictures but I'm too lazy to upload any.

..

Doing laundry sucks. In our building anyway. The driers are all lame, they won't dry completely unless you put your clothes in there for like 90 minutes.

But I digress (to what? I wasn't making any specific point)...
I still need to... do some homework, print out a composition I've been working on for awhile, email a professor, and make my bed. And put away my clothes. Then I've got to go to studio, and probably some other crap. Like dinner.

But until then, I'm just sitting here writing this, listening to Radiohead. So that's okay.

Adios.
