Here's A Thought: Don't Let Me Be In Charge Of Marketing My Own Products

Jan 13, 2011 01:12

It's one thing to dress up one of my mannequin heads-be it Hypatia, Lucretia or Salvia yesInamethemshuddap-in goggles and a silky white scarf and plop a newly completed owl hat on it to take customer approval photos. But that doesn't really convey the overwhelming ridiculousness innate in these hats, not the same way a real live person wearing it does.

REALLY. I MEAN THAT.

IS THIS NOT A RIDICULOUS HAT? IN WHICH ONE CAN BE RIDICULOUS? I MEAN, REALLY?

I do not send this sort of picture to my clients for fear they will regain their senses before a monetary transaction takes place.

. . .

For the record, this is what I was looking at out the window.

Raise your hand if you too are living in a Currier & Ives print. With or without a ridiculous hat.
