So politics has got you down lately. Which is understandable.* Tea parties, fanatics, finger pointing: there's a lot to be discouraged about. Except if you are in Iceland! Because the Best Party is taking a stand, spearheaded by former Sugarcubes' member Einar Benediktsson!!

Iceland is a world unto itself, one where you can run on a platform of making Reykjavik cuddly, rehabilitating wayward polar bears and improving school lunches and can still win.
I only wish I lived in such a world.
. . . I also only wish that I had a volcano fortress with which to threaten Europe, but that is something else entirely.
