More seed packets. I suspect that I'm going to need to redraw the Zapotec tomato at some point. They are proving to be difficult to stylize because of the amazingly weird dimensions they twist and fold in on themselves. Hm.
Lately I've been watching the Geraldine McEwan Miss Marples (oh man, At Betram's Hotel: con-vo-lut-ED). I'm wondering though, since it's been ages since I read Christie's original texts, if the recurring Magic Lesbians* is a proper theme or if it's just the producers' inferrence, a sort of 'updating the social mores to bring sexy back for ratings' of her work. They've been blatantly tidying up the endings to insert (and in some cases, awkwardly force) a romance between the main sympathetic characters too, so I wouldn't put it past them.
* When in doubt of whodunnit, ask yourself if Magic Lesbians could have done it. This seems to work for many of the current screen adaptations put forth (though not all). It would be an infuriating stereotype if the Magic Lesbian couples weren't compassionate and freaking adorable together.
