(I Will Make Big Dewy Anime Eyes At You Until You Give In)

So it's my birthday in two weeks. Mostly I am writing that down to get the feel of the words and maybe get more comfortable with the idea of being twenty six. Or more to the point, being twenty six and not having a whole lot to show for it FOR SHAME TUT TUT. I know I did say that I had no problem with being older just as long as I was steadily going away from being twenty three; something must have changed after the whole quarter-century mark.

[jekesta has a fine strategy for coping with this, and spends the month preceeding her birthday convincing herself that she is going to be twenty seven and not twenty six, so that she can be pleasantly surprised and relieved at remembering that she will only be twenty six. She has crazy brilliant birthday strategies; I don't know what I did without her all those years.]

But yes. I will be twice thirteen in two weeks. Taking into account the terms and conditions of having an early August birthday, I'd still like to do something to enjoy the day. Because it's also Andy's birthday (The Andy), I'd like to spend part of the day at the Warhol museum (I've lived here for how long and not been there?). I'm told that the Silver Cloud Room is divine, there's a photobooth somewhere on the premises, and it would be rather nice to spend the day with some friends there.

So please let me know if you're interested in joining a birthday adventure of this nature? I've given you two weeks for you to figure out that my birthday is on an inconvenient day and for other scheduling problems to arise, and everything. Ahem.

And a vague, general guide to Things I Might Like For [Generic Festive Occasion] resides here, if you are so inclined. But I did get the tea cozy, so you may disregard that one.
