The Early August Wangst-Fest Is In Full Session!
So it happens that we're in the middle of the Early August Wangst-Fest: my birthday on Saturday, Messr. S-'s birthday on Sunday, the delightful Miss A's birthday on Tuesday, and today, mini_snape's birthday, all conveniently slipping the minds of people close to us because it is too damn hot to think. It is in reaction to this that we gather together and eat ice cream and kvetch and whine and have ourselves a good wallow. Hurrah.
mini_snape is special though, as she gets dancing Snapes as her present. (TimeWarp!Snape is my fault by the way. I'm told it has spread like a particularly nasty endemic around lj and various forums. Which makes me happy beyond words.)
This year is only a wee bit late, mostly because I had to keep stopping to scour my retinas. Dance my minion, DANCE! *whipcrack*

You feel dirty? That was in my head for the past eight months. IN MY HEAD ON REPEAT. WITH DEATH EATERS OCCASIONALLY JUMPING IN AND CHANTING "WE WANT YOU, WE WANT YOU, WE WANT YOU AS A NEW RECRUIT." So don't talk to me about feeling dirty, all right?
You may rest easy that I have no intention whatsoever of turning this into an icon. And that I only do this once a year. (I do know what Snape will be dancing next year, so don't get too relaxed or anything.) For those of you just joining us, I had threatened to do this when the idea was originally broached last December. I make good on my threats. Sooner or later.
