Wow, it's been quite a while since a journal entry over here.

Things in life have changed quite a bit since my Dec. post, and I'm proud to say that I've made some personal journeys that have been very fruitful.
Most fruitful being that there is a woman in my life now. How I'd forgotten the feeling of sleeping in a warm bed with a woman next to you, or learning what truly stimulates somebody both mentally and physically. She's an engaging and beautiful girl who deserves all the love, affection, and understanding she can get - and I'm willing to give, give, and give. Thank you.
Another fruit of my quarterly endeavors has been a promotion at work - I am now officially a Systems Administrator at Bellsouth. My schedule is a lot more forgiving now - no more waking up at 5:00AM to get to work - Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Score.
I'm looking forward to moving into a new place soon - I've been planning the decor for my new place for a little while now (not exactly a manly activity I've been assured, but naysayers can suck it). It's going to look snap, I assure you. I'll probably be living downtown, preferrably in Southside, just a bike away from UAB.
Speaking of, I've also made finalized my plans to attend UAB in the fall - I'm taking an undergrad degree in Business with a concentration in Information Systems. After that - Graduate study at the school of Dentistry; I have discovered the secret world of fulfilling work that is Dentistry, as my brother has let me in on their secretive festivities - He is your friendly local Dentist in Hayden, Alabama. Working four or five days a week with an annual income of $100,000+ is a fucking boon. And if Graduate school doesn't work out for me? I've got a business degree under my belt with IT experience out in the field - time to make a steal at this 'information technology', as the kidz call it.
