what the hell. my laptop monitor broke, so I ordered a new LCD and installed it (19 hours; I have new respect for Dell). then literally ONE SECOND after I turn it on it whitescreens. MY GRAPHICS CARD DIED.
Moral of the story- Dell has very good customer service and tech support. But it follows the communist system of operation: very cheap and replacable parts that die on you pretty quick.
