Grade 11 English and How I Pwned it Twice
I must say, next time I put up my schedule of activities dealing with school, maybe I should double-check everything first. I arrived at the school at around 8:45 wondering why there was no lineup outside the gym (typical of most exams done in there) and after dropping of my jacket, headed in. I was told to go to some room in some other building (who cares?) and from there I was given 3 hours to do everything.
Only after arriving and sitting down did I realize that perhaps it started a little earlier than I thought. These suspicions were confirmed about 15 minutes ago thanks to choco_riceball and baroness_lamia Thanks for the heads up anyway, even if I didn't get until now. :D
The only thing I can really say about the exam is that I've done it before. About 2-3 years ago in high school I had to do it and if I remember correctly I had to do the same thing for my english placement a few months later. Unless you are either a foreign exchange student or you hacked your final grades to get into college, you have absolutely no excuse to fail this. I felt gipped when I left after an hour and a half
I then headed down to Cunningham's with a couple people I knew in comp sci (still not sure how I know them) and had lunch. The boss was there and dismissive as ever! I have to say I wasn't expecting him there so early but whatever, he won't even bother to shake my hand let alone say hi. He reminds me so much of my dad, it's disturbing.
So what else can? Oh yes, I did something very dastardly the other day (I love that word, Dastardly!) I went down to the videostore I'm buying my game for the sister from and left an order and a note for them to call my mother when it comes in. It was on my list and she said she'd try to find it, now it's gonna find her. no excuses this time! MUHAHAHA. I'm terrible.
Oh yeah and that Geo essay, finished it last night with Dev. The final product spanned around 12 pages (+3600 words :D ) and is probably the longest paper I've written yet. We sent it off 15 minutes before the deadline, 23:59 last night, with a note saying basically "we're handing in our assignment early. For that we hope you're generous with our marking" The reply came back from our professor with an "Impressive timing lol". I hope I do well on it.
So as to my current state of affairs, I'm going to take the day to relax. Maybe I'll have my combo of Beefaroni and Pop-Tarts and just kick back to some anime I downloaded (speaking of which, after 2 weeks of on and off seeders, Disgaea came in last night) That's probably what I'll do. I have to study for Physics tomorrow and as well I get paid. It'll help ease the pain of my next Visa statement. The holidays always hurt.
