[This morning a set of writing will appear. The writer, one Homura Akemi, is obscuring the camera angle so she won't be noticed. Not because she wants to hide her identity, but rather the makeshift bandages around her body. She's still slowly recovering using the Soul Gem's properties, but it isn't a fast paced healing in the slightest ( Read more... )

[Guess who still hasn't been totally filled in on the days she missed yet?]

Attacker? What happened?

[Without moving the camera toward her, Homura writes back.]

On June the 18th a woman appeared in close proximity to the village and began attacking people without discrimination.

...And that's why Dr. McCoy has been so busy.

I don't know who that is, but if he is a doctor then I'm sure he has a large share of patients still recovering. Which is why something like this can't happen again.

[Not that she's one of those patients, but she's definitely still recovering.]

No, it can't. ...Could you tell me more about what happened, please?

There isn't much I know. She appeared in the forest on the 18th and slaughtered many animals there. I caught her in the act and attempted to put her down before she could make it to the village. [...] I was unsuccessful and she continued her rampage.

[It comes with much hesitation, but she has to admit it. She failed to put that person down and was nearly killed in the process.]

She must have been quite powerful. Are you all right?

I am still in recovery, but I am now capable of movement. My current health is not as important as those that must be protected if this occurs again.

That's not true! Your health is just as important as anyone else's.

I will live from this. That is the most important part. My wounds have been healing with time and I will be fine in due time. There is no need to be concerned.

That doesn't mean you should have no concern for your health.

...Do you think it's likely that she will attack again?

I will be fine.

[The writing stops for a moment and a small sigh can be heard on the other side.]

If given chance, yes. I want to prevent that. [Not by murdering of course, but if there is a way to incapacitate something like that she will take it.]

[Don't sigh at her, she looks out for everyone.]

You were attacked. What do you think could prevent it?

[She will sigh all she wants :|!!]

Better preparation and tactics. I was merely ill-equipped for a battle such as that.

[The main reason she lost was because Mu got close enough to make physical contact, which held Homura back from using her time power. Up until that point she wasn't doing half-bad against the murderous machine.]
