Patronage

When I joined ADF four years ago, I began searching for my Patrons. Patron number one was easy to find: Eris seduced me with a smile and a kiss.

Patron number two was much harder to locate, though. I knew he was there from the very beginning, but I didn't know who he was.

np :) With the Patronage requirement gone from the DP, we have less literature on it. I like to occasionally bring it up :)

out of curiousity, why was it removed?

For the very simple fact that 1 year isn't nearly long enough to actually find a patron, much less build a relationship with one. Lots of people were unhappy at having to have a Patron nownownow and people were rushing into things.

In the end, it was a good thing to remove. They replaced it with "personal religion", which is a much better way to put it.

yeah, I can see that becoming an anxiety thing.

If I get onto IM later, maybe we can chat about patronage. I've got a shitload of stuff to do between now and whenever I get home, so it may be later for me.
