Imbolc with Three Cranes Grove, ADF
Three Cranes Grove, ADF, invites you to celebrate the feast of Imbolc with us on Sunday, February 6, 2005. We will have a social hour at 5:30 PM, followed by the rite at 6:30 PM. There will be a potluck dinner that will follow the rite, so please bring something to share. The rite is free and open to the public. The rite will be held at Blacklick Woods Metropark in Columbus, OH, in the Beechmaple Lodge reservable shelter. The shelter is enclosed and heated. Directions are at the end of this message.
Please bring a donation of one canned food item. No one will be turned away from the rite for lack of donation, however.
We will also be doing a blessing of the tools with which we work, in keeping with the traditions of the season. If you would like, you may bring a representation of the tools that you work with to have them blessed during the praise offerings. Examples might be screwdrivers, computer mice, palm pilots, pens, paintbrushes, socket wrenches. . . pretty much anything that speaks to you of your work.
To get to the rite, follow these directions:
From I-270, take the East Main Street/Reynoldsburg exit. Go east on Main Street to Brice Road and turn right. Take Brice Road to Livingston Avenue and turn left. Entrance is about 1.5 miles on the right.
Turn right into the park entrance (not the golf course entrance). Take the first left and park there. There are signs marking the Beechmaple Lodge.
