riz and i looked at this little bungalow last friday night and fell in love with it. so adorable!
we got it!
we turned-in our application last monday night and he called riz wednesday morning telling her we got it. it took us less than a week to find an awesome place to live. we are so excited!! We just signed the lease and put down our deposit last night. wow. the landlords are super cool too. they are a couple in their 30s who are totally chill and super nice people. they also really care about the house so have taken really good care of it. they are even tearing-up the remainder of the carpet to expose the hardwood floors. hardwood floors in the whole place!
here's a description of the place:

- covered porch in the front! for rocking chairs!!
- HUGE backyard with garden areas, small garage and lots of potential
- i still can't get over how huge the backyard is - the dogs will love it.
- front yard is pretty big too - we can't wait to garden
Downstairs:
- extra room with another closet - we're gonna use this for tv & computer
- laundry room with washer and dryer
- storage space
He has also left a mower so that we can mow the lawn! yippee! i can't wait. there is also forced-heating. yay.
this is so exciting. not only will i finally have a space that will feel like my own, i will be living in a house. wow. i almost can't believe it. my own house. a bedroom with a window - 2 windows even. a deep bathtub. a backyard for oliver and willow to romp around in. i don't have to crate my dog anymore! no more veal calf dog. i am also very excited to live with riza. i'm not even scared or nervous. it is a big step and my intuition tells me it will all be okay. we are both ready to have a comfortable place to live.
