working 2 jobs

it's down to my last hour at this job. can i have a Yeeeeeeeeee Haw. did anyone watch that show heehaw in the early 80s? i remember seeing it as a kid and it made no sense whatsoever.

so one more hour. i am getting tired, which is bad news because i work again from 11pm to 5am tonight. i think i'll be hitting up the coffee pot when i get home. i can never get a good nap in between my day job and my night shift on fridays. at least the radio station job is laid back and maybe this time around i can actually get myself to study some statistics. i am determined to get through those stats classes in portland. then again, i don't know if it's very smart to attempt studying after a full day of work, and into another 6 hours of work - overnight. i kinda doubt the ol' brain getting any of that math terminology to stick. maybe i should stick to reading my book, playing gameboy and surfing the internet.

i really want to go to the japanese & botanical gardens tomorrow. i hope sarah's up to it. maybe we could take something along and do a photo shoot. last time it was one of her dolls, and we posed her around the gardens. some of the pictures turned out really cool. i hope to get a shot of the squirrel-man. i used to see him every time i went into the botanical gardens. he calls out to the squirrels and they come out from all over, jumping up on his shoulders and taking food out of his hands. he has the most peculiar squirrel call too - unmistakable.

i think the botanical gardens are still one of my favorite things to visit in the city. i used to walk from my flat on 47th, out by the beach, up through the park and end up in the botanical gardens. it is especially good when the flowers are in bloom. gorgeous. it's also a nice quiet place to walk around. i need the trees. i need a bike to ride around the park. that's something i regret - never having a bike in SF. well...i had one but it was stolen a half hour after i moved back. i love the homeless! ugh. i'll get a bike in portland. i don't think they get stolen like they do in SF? we'll see.
