Originally uploaded by lightsightA friend of mine swears by this as one of the best milk chocolate experiences you can get in the supermarket. Milka is German made and at airports you can buy mammoth blocks of this baby.
Domestically, however, Milka made a big splash into the market in the early 90s (I think... I remember being a poor student) and then all but vanished. In fact, it was off the shelf in supermarkets just a few years ago. Cadbury still dominates that sector.
Recently Coles have brought it back on special, for $1.60 per 100g but the supply is patchy.
Milk chocolate-wise, friend is correct.. It is one of the milkier, creamier products to put in your shopping basket, but this isn't something I would go out of my way to order over the Internet or anything...
