(no subject)
I don't have much time but I wanted to get on and wish everyone a Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/Awesome winter break ^_^ I'm leaving for Mississippi in a few so if you need me just give me a ring on my cell. I'll probably make my merry christmas rounds sometime sunday evening so get prepared for me to call all of y'all who are still about their phone ^0^
Oh went and saw Unaccompanied Minors with Haley (it was alright...like a 4/10) And Deja Vu with Jono (9/10 <33) yesterday. I was REALLY excited to see the latter because it's my type of movie. I like psyco thrillers. Ones that blow your mind with the concepts they present and give you a new way of tinking on a particualr subject. (Or re-enforce something I already believed) One concept they covered I had seen before from someone (they know who they are) No whether you took the idea from the movie or not is irrelevant and is not up for discussion.
Anywho back on to the reason for the season....XD Ok for me not really the birth of jesus (Considering Christmas is actually a pagan holiday celebrating the winter solstis and jesus was actually born in the spring...) The reason for the season is not just how the religions what to make it to be, but should be more focused on the main idea of it all, the togetherness of the world. Christmas is one of those few times of the year where we help our fellow man, and make unselfish deisisons. Giving and recieving presents, providing those in need with food, clothes, and toys for their children, THAT is the reason for the season. Not Hannahka, Christmas, Kwannzaa or any other of those, it's the change of attitude everyone has. The natural instent to help others.
