Stupid Brewing Tricks
First attempt at cider was a big fat FAIL. I now have a gallon of cider on my counter that is covered with a 1-inch layer of fuzzy white mold. I suspect that although it looked like there was good yeast at the bottom of my beer bottle, it had however been pasteurized. I have a bottle or two of homebrew left so I will use one of those on a second attempt.
I still haven't got my stout brewing. Being sick all weekend ruined my plans for it. It is too late for it to be ready for christmas so will have to be New Years Stout instead. If I am feeling better by Saturday I will do it this coming weekend.
