Looking up
The last week has been an interesting one. I finally got the go ahead to apply for a job as a surveyor and so have done - this is an odd experience as despite being on my fifth job in 5 years I've only actually applied for one of them (the rest being internal moves) so yeah wish me luck anyhey...
We've been gearing up in a couple of respects actually this week, mainly to Laurens starting work again (which is ace news) and also to my birthday next Friday which is quite exciting since it's a genuine leap year day. Otherwise I've spent time either watching films (Jumper - excellent twaddle, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer - okay, well it didn't suck as much as I expected), playing computer games (viva pinata!) or painting (starship troopers minis).
Anyway it should be a good week coming up apart from more testing at work - but Saturday sees me going to Blue Planet with my folks which should be lots of fun.
All in all its going okay again now.
