I have a couple minutes, so here's a quick update about me!
-- Becca, Jesse & myself went to Guns N' Roses on December 2 at the Target Center. It was a blast! The "Suicide Girls" -- essentially strippers in tape and dental floss -- were one of the openers. I've never seen anything like that before, especially at a concert! Sebastian Bach was one of the openers, and he rocked for a full 65 minutes! WOW, it was a good set!
So, Axl Rose & Co. took the stage at 11:45, but he played nearly 2 and a half hours! Seriously, the concert ended at 2:10 a.m.! I've never been at a show so late! We drove around and found an open Taco Bell for late-night food.
-- I went to ROH on Dec. 9 with Mike (Kamikaze) Klecker and Andrew (the CEO) Scalz. Great time had by all. Two straight nights of ROH is a good thing! Friday was mediocre, but Saturday was great! We drove home, stopped at the Taco Bell in Beloit (really, I don't eat Taco Bell that often!), and got back to the park and ride at about 5:05, so I was home by 5:30.
-- Last weekend, I went to the wedding for my cousin Jay, and his lovely bride, Beth. They are both 18, and just graduated from high school earlier this year. Yes, they are young. I hope everything works out!
-- I just went and saw "The Nativity Story" last weekend, and it was FANTASTIC. I am really shocked it hasn't done better at the box office. Will Christians give it a push this final week before Christmas?
-- I had a headlight go out the day after the GnR concert. I got it fixed right away. Last night (Dec. 18) the other headlight went out! Seriously, what is the likelihood that BOTH headlights would burn out within 15 DAYS of each other? Crazy! Ugh, now I need to get this one repaired too. No, I can't do it myself. Everything is packed in too tight. Luckily, the mechanic I know here in CF did it for practically nothing.
-- I can't believe Christmas is almost here. I need to buy more stuff, and I need to wrap everything.
-- I've been reviewing lots of wrestling DVDs. And spending too much money, too. I am sad at how high my credit card bill suddenly got! I need to reign myself in.
