Have been reading the last parts of Crossing the canal by tsosh. I started reading this one a while ago on fanfiction.net and now that it's finished I read it all again.
Authors summary: Harry is trying to find himself and Draco is trying to hide away. An unexpected meeting in Amsterdam teaches them that the past is nothing but water under the bridge, and that sometimes, what you need most is just a bit of bad luck.
Wonderful story! Harry is on holiday in Amsterdam and who does he meet there? Draco Malfoy of course.
The story is full of UST, some of the funniest lines ever, the longest sex scene I have ever read and not skipped over and lots of touching moments. Absolutely great.
Want to visit Amsterdam again, now!
I love stories that want to make me visit places, like this one. So, I've been to Amsterdam before and I loved that I had images in my head that went along with the story.
Other stories that made me want to visit new places and I hope that I manage to get there sometime:
Seven days in June by fourth_rose, Vienna is really not that far away, should be possible to visit for a weekend.
A mile in his shoes by sansa1970 that takes place on the Isle of White, I guess a vacation there should be more than a few days, but not that impossible.
