Scuba Lessons
Had a blast this weekend. My friends Steve and Sarah came over because we were trading vehicles..he'd bought our truck and we'd gotten their lil car. So he mentioned they were taking the boat out to go scuba diving, and I've always wanted to try it, having gone snorkeling in Key West a few years ago. So, I figured that I'd see what it was like, and had a blast my first day out. Now, the waves were too choppy to get out into the Gulf in their little boat, so we dropped anchor by an island near the channel out and they taught me a little about it. We went to Brewmaster's for dinner and then I crashed in the head on the way back...watched 100 Scariest Movie Moments on Bravo and crashed around 3am. We went out again the next morning, and I got down to 18 feet at one point...sunned a bit then went home and did chores then got ready for work...today was a good day at work, but I'm sitting here listening to Stephen Baldwin on KSEX and he reminds me why I love how my life is now...as for tomorrow, I will be dressed up at work as Jessica Rabbit, and wear it to Applebee's afterwards to listen to Dave, so should be fun.
