Summer's Hot
Not much been going on lately...yes, went to see The Stick Martin Show twice in the past couple weeks at local Green Iguanas, but other than that, just feels like all I've been doing is going to work. Know it's not like that, but I always get like this when summer rolls around cuz it's a little harder to make money, especially with people being hurricane leery this year. *sigh* but hey, that's life, right? Been trying to get in the habit of at least walking one way or the other to go see my girlfriend when she's on her lunch break or on her way home, cuz from the house to her work is 2.5 miles either way. Tried to walk from her work to home yesterday and got caught in the shower we had yesterday...thought it would be fine, but my phone might have given up the ghost...was trying to get out of the rain and didn't think to try and cover my phone. The 10 year old cheapass walkman looks like it'll make it- but not my bells-and-whistles phone- go figure! So, all in all, just trying to sit back and chill on the weekends...had some friends over last night, and that was bunches of fun...maybe that's what I should start doing- just have ppl come over one weekend night to have some low-key fun.
