ahhh the update.
jesus I have been gone for a while... but a valid excuse nonetheless!
I am now a new but proud member of the Thalian Society. good times. for you non Whittier folks, pretty much I am in a sorority now, and during Jan Term I was pledging with 16 other girls. It was hard work but well worth it and it has only just begun. Good times, seriously. I get along with all the girls so well and this was a great decision on my part, and their part to "accept" me. Take from it what you will, but this is much more than just "buying friends". F that. I make friends easily as it is. Whatever, I don't need to defend my decisions, especially when I am so happy!
This picture is of all 17 of us at convocation which is the ceremony in which we became actual Thalians! Yaaaay. If you don't know which one is me than you are silly. anyway, yes we all wore white and it was good times all around.
more new things:
Ally and I now live together. I moved out of Alex's room and I am just down the hall in 345. I haven't fully moved in yet but all my stuff is here. Good room, good times! It's great living with her and we complement each other well.
I lost over 10 lbs during pledging. haha, hot!
I just finished my last day of Jan Term... and as of today I had a 94.2% in the class. YIPPEE. I have a big paper due tomorrow but I started it yesterday so I should be okay!
so generally, my life is going extremely well. New friends, high grade, great weather, new roomie, new beginning. Ahhh, amazing.
we also have until next Thursday off from classes. Talk about partying it up! Tonight a bunch of us are going clubbing and then Saturday we're going out to dinner and chillin with Raquel and who knows from there. I want to go into LA and see some movies and eat good food and chill. I'd like to go to Mexico as well but it always falls through. Guh! I'll go eventually, I know.
well I have to finish this paper so I can have some fun tonight. yippee for this week!
