Preferences
After reading through this blog I started paying attention to the common themes in what I’m liking in my modern clothes board . I’ve been collecting inspiration images for a good while now. I started it because a pinterest board is one of the things the stylists at Stitch Fix are supposed to look at when selecting things.
Anyway, I’ve been noticing a theme in the colors and I’ve been trying to pay attention to that when I’m making purchases. I have a lot of more muted natural colors (cream, browns, earthy greens, rust, deep blues) though there are a few brights that draw me in (turquoise, coral).
In jewelry I favor a natural raw feel (brass, antiqued, copper, natural stones, silver). I suppose boho. Not sure exactly what the label would be.
Of course a pinterest board is the ideal. If only we could have everything we covet on pinterest! But, I can at least pay attention to these things when I’m in a store rather than just picking up anything that catches my eye. I love the looks of a lot of things, buy them, then never wear them.
