It's getting hot over herrree!!!

hmm... this past weekend i went to san jose with a couple of my girls... i finally got the balls to ask for a day off from my boss even tho he's a very lenient guy... friday we stayed at my friend's place, while a few friends came over and we had ourselves a lil party going on... the recent graduates that lived in my complex just came back from their Eurotrip and were in the area so it was nice to have a lil reunion... saturday we went to the garlic festival in gilroy... gilroy is known for their garlic so they decided to host a garlic festival every year where they have booths for food and music and other festival stuff... we had garlic fries, pesto pasta (of course w/ garlic), stuffed mushrooms and garlic ice cream... the garlic fries were sooo freakin' good... the stuffed mushrooms has so much garlic that it started tasting spicy to me... and the garlic ice cream... wow was that weird... we had the vanilla w/ garlic all in half a cantalope... lets just say that the aftertaste was garlic and that's just gross... having it with the cantalope, however, kinda drowned the garlic taste... but we just ended up throwing away the ice cream and eating the cantalope instead... but all i can say was that it was sooo freakin' hot!!!! it was like 97 degrees! almost everyone there were under tents... once we got in... we stood in line for some slushees (is that how you spell it???) hehe... we walked around for about an hour and we were ready to get outta there... but we paid 12 bucks to get in so we just chilled for another hour under a tent and went to see the band that was playing then we left... after we got freshened up we went to the cheesecake factory and had some drinks and had an awesome dinner... it was one of their friends birthday last month but for some reason he didn't go to his surprise party so they decided to have a little thing for him that night... lotsa talking, eating and drinking went on and by 1am we were all so drained that we called it a night... the next morning me and my friends drove back to slo when we were close to home... we pulled down the windows and we felt the humid breeze... and we were even on the freeway going like 80mph... ugh... i swear!!!!
the guy that i told you about that works for alicia keys came in on sunday while i was working to give a cd of some music that he produced for an independent film and we got to talking again... so i got his contact information and he's gonna let me know of any upcoming musical events that happen around the area... he said he'd hook our restaurant with autographed pics from some of the stars... whoo hoo... hehe... he's sucha nice guy...
ohh... today i cut my hair... actually alot shorter than usual... i think i look younger... but my girls say that i look older... hmm... hehe... i just felt like doing something different than my usual shoulder-length-with-layers hair-do... so i did...
