(no subject)
eventhough i don't have much to write, i can't resist a post on a day like today.
i started off my morning with a tromp through the snow to phil's house so i could throw snowballs at his window until he woke up and brought me my phone. i thought to myself, "so this is how people had to communicate back in the dark ages." ha. sorry i'm out of practice of making these things actually worthwhile to read.
when i went out to dinner at cottage inn with the the new charity relations advisors for dance marathon on wednesday lorenzo, the manager, stopped by our table and asked where all of the harmonettes were. it was real cute. so all day yesterday i was looking forward to the splendor of thursday nights at C.I. on our way over from practice all of us harmas got stopped by some random guys who were taping a movie and they asked us to sing winter wonderland so they could put it in their film. they took our business card and we're gonna be in the credits....sweeeeet. anyway, cottage inn was as wonderful as i expected, and even thought sebastian wasn't our waiter this week our substitue made up for it by being funny and extra accommodating. also, lorenzo gave us tons of free dessert :) :) :)
today i want to make snow angels, but instead i have a directors meeting from 1-5 and then two gigs (for the compulsive lyres concert and for the groove show).
i got an email today from the director of nelp who will be retiring soon and it made me uber-nostalgic about how great life was back in the spring because of how much i was learning and growing and feeling excited about both of those things. at first i felt sad, because i don't know if i'm living an enhanced life like i was only a few months ago. but then i thought, at least i know i have the potential, right? i can't overlook all the ways that i appreciate my life as it is now just because as it was then was good in different ways. this all is mumbo-jumbo. it's time to split and grab a bit to eat.
i'm loving the snow, and
i am happy.
