I hate rock bands that take themselves too seriously.
Unless you happen to be in a band called The Beatles, Black Sabbath, or Nirvana you are not: a new way of hearing the world, (X number) of souls melded into one, the perfect sonic landscape fading into a horizon of change, or any of the other hundreds of stupid pretentious things I've heard small time bands claim to be over the years.
Chances are, you're just a group of people who found that you make music better together than seperatly. Songwriting goes a lot smoother when you're not trying to impress anyone...And remember kids...It's supposed to be fun!
