Boycott Valentine's Day. The vendors that created this commercial holiday do not acknowledge gay and lesbian relationships, so why celebrate something that denies our visibility?
Find something alternative to do. Celebrate your love every day, don't buy Hallmark cards, or go to restaurants that "have" to allow us under law to eat.
I am no longer going to be ruled by an establishment that doesn't support and recognize my love.
As a community we have political and economic power. It's time that we wielded it.
