It's Good to be Me

Five weeks in a row now of feeling good and having a handle on my life. So I am spacing therapy appointments out to every two weeks. Of course I can change that if I need to but as long as this trend continues I don't see the need to.

Geoff's parents stopped by on Saturday and it was good to see them because I hadn't seen them since Christmas Eve and I wasn't sure how they would react to me after they heard the news that I had broken up with their son.

Geoff's mom was telling me how much calmer my face looked and how much more relaxed my overall appearance was and that it was really nice to see. She also said that she noticed my facial tic was gone, which kind of took me aback at first but I just took it all in stride and said thank you.

What prompted them coming over was that Geoff hired their cleaning women. Two Brazilian women $150/4 hours for the first cleaning and then every 2 weeks $80. The hous sparkled and I was thrilled to finally live in a clean environment.

Geoff and Carl are not total slobs but they don't really live up to my standards of clean so I am making it a point to keep the place the way the women left it.

It's a holiday for my company today because the Stock Exchange is closed so I am lounging around on this rainy, gloomy Monday. I am getting chores done here and there; cleaning the catbox, laundry, meal preparation, phone calls... Okay, so maybe I am more busy than I thought? :-)

It feels really good to be comfortable in my own skin at last and to be totally accepting of all of the different parts of me.

Now I just need to secure a personal loan for credit card consolidation and I am all set!
