KAWAI MP8 II
I've been looking at images of this piano for nine moths. I cant buy/invest in this thing, having never touched one/it. The dealers in seattle have either closed entirely or have halted the stalking of their showrooms; economy. last November i was driving toward Kitsap County, for my Brothers wedding, when i read this,
"NEW KAWAI PIANOS" on a vinyl banner above I-5. Having come 'round to this topic again, month and a half later, I just got of the phone with Mike at Prosser Piano's, Tukwila. Last weekend their sales representative visited Anaheim CA. for the NAMM music product conference, to preview new pianos, the KAWAI MP8 II being one of them. Mike expects at least one of these KAWAI models to fabricate in their showroom some time in the near future. Being a "good friend" of the sales rep. Mike has suggested he call the rep. now and investigate the likelihood of this "fabrication", I hope they are enjoying their (unexpected promotion of common values/) conversation today, on Tuesday, January the 19 of 2010.
"we'll see if we can't get one of these in our showroom, so you can play it."
