Not much news, except for the move
I don't think I've gone 5 days without a post in quite awhile, but there isn't much going on right now apart from my move.
I get up in the morning, go to work, and as soon as I get home immediately start sorting through stuff, boxing some of it, putting other things in the increasigly large "this is going to the dump" pile. Bit by bit, I've been moving some things to the new place this week.
I haven't been able to move much though, as they've been painting the ceiling in most of the apartment, as there was quite a bit of cracked paint on it. This limited where I could put things basically to the study nook off the dining room. Craig helped me move 5 bookshelves on Tuesday, and subsequently, I've moved the majority of my books and have unpacked those boxes. But all that just scratches the surface.
I'll probably move my kitchen stuff today, as most of that is quite manageable on my own. I'll probably also move my musical instruments, with the exception of the Roland F90 digital piano, which is too big to fit in my car.
Today is a half day, I get out in less than 2 hours, so my goal for tonight is to move as much as I can, but more importantly, have EVERYTHING packed and boxed and ready to just pick up and move when my crew of friends arrives tomorrow.
The only thing I've done this week that wasn't related to my move was to go to Lewiston on Wednesday night with my friend Andrea. Our young adult group held our weekly Wednesday event up there this week, so we carpooled, and a bunch of us went out to Pat's Pizza in Auburn afterwards.
Otherwise, it's all been moving, moving, moving.
