So, here's my periodic update post of things that aren't worth their own posts, but allow me to know what I was up to later on when I browse my archives.

- The Ball was a lot of fun. I have pictures.

- The new Ray LaMontagne CD isn't quite doing it for me. It's missing something that made the first two work so well. I'll keep trying though, some of my favorite albums took me a long time to warm up to.

- Mornings have started to get really, really cold. High 20s this AM on the drive in!!!

- Looks like I get to go bird hunting this weekend with my dad up north, I thought I wouldn't have a chance to do it this year. It comes at a cost though. Had I stayed here, I'd have had plenty to do. I was going to go hiking on Saturday, and be back in time to attend a 9-course tasting dinner at the Portland Harbor Hotel that Jacques, the owner of Old Port wine, invited me to. On Sunday, I had planned to drive to Dover, NH to shop for guitars (tax free), then come back and watch a French movie at the Jensen's on Sunday, and also do laundry at some point if possible. Oh well. You know, that all still sounds tempting...still think I'm going to go hunting though. If I get enough partridges I'll have some people over sometime for dinner. Though I might change my mind and stay south. We'll see.

- We're having a costume day at work next week. TD is about to reveal a new "mascot", that looks vaguely like a green spongebob, so our theme is "Rejected mascot ideas." It can be literally anything, but I'd like to do something sinister, like dress up as John Dillinger or something. But that costume wouldn't work well for Bert's party on Saturday the 1st, so I dunno. Anyone got any ideas?

- Two nights ago I had that dream again where I realize my apartment is way bigger than I thought it was. Then I wake up to reality. Seriously, this is a sign. I need to move.

- It's static electricity season! And blistex season, too. Ugh.

- I'm now halfway done with my Invisalign. I'm starting to notice a pretty big difference, and the changes to my really obviously crooked tooth should be fairly fast from this point on. Excellent!

- Thinking of dyeing my hair. Over the past few weeks, I've asked a few female friends what their opinions were on this, and only one gave me a clear answer. The rest hemmed and hawed, but the one definitive answer I got was "yeah, I think it would look good." My hair is the perfect length for it right now, between cuts, so if I hate it, the roots should have grown in sufficiently by my next cut that it will erase most of the color. Still not entirely sure, but if I have no gray next time you see me, don't be shocked.

I guess that's everything for now. Hope everyone is having a nice week!
