Two pictures of Saturday's steepness
One picture is mine, one is not, but I liked how it showed the pitch of the North Tripyramid slide.
Beth will get a kick out of this, after having hiked down the far less steep but equally gravelley, eroded Saddle Trail on Katahdin.
This section went straight up, and lasted about 1/2 mile, and ascended 1,200 feet. Switchbacks? This is the east, what's a switchback?
