i know that i should say somethin...but im not sure how. this isnt somethin that u say while hangin out w/ ur best friend. it probably isnt somethin that should be said on a livejournal, but i know that i couldn't find the words if i tried to just explain this.
u know that most of us who didnt go to mexico spent the week waitin for all of u to get back. we spent a week waiting around for u as if the world depended on it...as if there wuz nothing for us to do until u got back from ur lil adventure.
except it wasnt some "lil adventure"...it was a life-changing experience that those of us who didn't go will never understand or share.
...i want to ask questions, to hear all about not just the funny stories and jokes, but about what u felt, what u learned. i want to understand...and i know that i cant.
and so i'll go on and pretend everythings the same...even though ur not the same twin that i saw last wednesday morning...even though u've changed and i havent...even though i envy u for what u experienced more than ud guess
i just wanted to let u kno that im tryin to understand.
luv ya, twin...its good to have u back

You need to ask us questions, how we felt and stuff... this "adventure is about bringing back the things we learned..

we were told throughout the trip that since we were the ones that went on the trip... we need to help other people see what it is like there... to spread the word, so to speak. You didn't have to be there with us, we want to share... when people ask "what was the best experience, or your worst experience" we don't want to answer them... seriously, if it was all about the jokes or fun times we spent together, we would have spent the 1000 on a trip to Disney World... they have a nice display of Mexico in Epcot... but it wasn't about that... it was about the experience, us changing so we could change the world... and the only way I see that we can change the world is for the rest of the world to be receptive, not of the fun times, but of the experience... what we learned

We're still processing everything, but I think the more you guys that weren't able to join us bug us... we'll talk... we'll give you the real story... we'll share some of the knowlege... that's why I wrote that whole thing.. not to stand on my soap box and say "look what I did for the poor"... but to raise everyone's awareness to what we saw and what we experienced.

Ask Questions... you know the ones to ask.
