And then a hero comes along
Words cannot describe how absolutely geeked I am about the new series "Heroes." I mean, the idea borrows so heavily from X-Men I'm surprised somebody's not getting sued. The pilot episode even makes reference the Marvel's merry mutants. But it's so... exciting. These people, all different ages, discovering their powers? Powers they've been given to save the world from unseen threat?
Actually, come to think of it, it sounds even more like USA's "The 4400" than X-Men. 4400 whole premise is some folks were alien abducted, only they weren't taken by aliens, but by "the future" and given super human powers so they could prevent some terrible disaster that leaves the future in ruin. If Marvel's not suing, The 4400 probably has a pretty good case for copyright infringement. Or something.
But this show is going to be amazing, regardless of who they stole the idea from. And unlike The 4400, this cast can actually act. Which really goes along way. But anyway. I. am. geeked. So hard. Over this show. It has the potential to, perhaps, dare I say....
