Consignment, ebay resellers
Does anyone have any experience with consignment or one of those eBay resellers? You know the ones that will take your crap and sell it for you? I know I've seen a sign for one in Wayland and Acton, but that's the extent of my knowledge. I have a bunch of random items in good or new condition that I no longer want or need but I don't have the energy to try and sell them on ebay. Items include new books, board games, puzzles, an french horn, digital keyboard, etc. I know Tiamatlady has used a company for CDs successfully, but I think they only take a few types of items and know they won't take all of this stuff. I looked on Angie's List but can't find an appropriate category.
I'm also seriously considering selling Yoda, because I can't figure out a good place to put him in the new condo, but I don't have any idea how much to ask for him. There's no WAY I'm going to attempt to box and ship him anywhere, so it's either a local you-come-and-get-him or someone to sell him for me.
I also welcome suggestions for appropriate donation spots, like instruments to music programs. I have an old pair of eyeglasses to donate too, if anyone knows where I can take them.
