Who's your daddy now?

This morning I emailed a professor in the Psych department that I took a class with a few years ago. It occurred to us on Friday that the subject of passwords in Information Security is really a cognitive and memory issue, and I happen to know of a professor who does cognitive and memory studies. Convenient, huh? I shot an email off to her with a summary of my thoughts. I got an auto-response in reply, saying she'll be away from email until August 8th. But I am being proactive! I should make myself some cookies today.

My upper back and shoulders are absolutely killing me today. Yesterday it felt as though I had a tourniquet around my left bicep that was cutting off circulation in my arm. My entire left shoulder was one really big knot. After some serious kneading by Sajuka, a couple of ibruprophen and some Myoflex it was finally bearable. This morning I was awake at 7 with both sides stiff and achy. Ugh!

I upgraded Coppermine on our personal webserver yesterday, and it actually worked correctly on the first try!!! Amazing! I had to resize several photos that I'd goofed up on, which I just finished. Photoshop decided to choose inches rather than pixels when I set my crop size. I'll upload those and tag them and bag 'em share them momentarily. And by momentarily I mean as soon as I get around to it after being distracted by a dozen other things first.
