Kitty confused

So I'm home from trooping, and Kale won't come downstairs. I'm very confused. Zane was at the door to greet me as usual and is acting normal. Kale won't come down the stairs. I was actually afraid I'd locked him in a closet, because eventually I heard him meowing, but no, he was just up on the top landing. I'm down in the kitchen making food. He should be underfoot. He seems okay otherwise. I guess I'll see if a can of cat food will lure him down.

EDIT: Well, beef and giblets seemed to work.
