While flipping channels, searching for something to entertain me while I folded laundry, I stumbled across the end of an HGTV show. They were designing a Star Wars room for a little boy with some sort of physical disorder that limited his mobility. They painted Coruscant on the wall, made him a space ship bed, and Lucasfilm donated those big, expensive wall art things, an FX lightsaber, and a bunch of other cool toys. It was so cool looking, and everything was donated!
Then, the very next show, Divine Design, designed a new bedroom for a little girl for Make a Wish. She was a huge fan of the show, and they did a great job and made her so happy. The smiles on those kids' faces was so priceless.
And a little bit of good fortune came my way today too. AAA replaced my windshield, and it didn't cost me a cent. The crack in the windshield near the top of the driver's side was apparently too big to repair (flying rock on the highway last month), and there were a bunch of other pits and nicks, so they gave me a new one rather than a repair. It took about an hour, but they even came to me! How's that for service? I've said it before, but I'll say it again for emphasis - AAA rocks!
