I GOT FLOWERS TONIGHT!!!!
My fiance is the most wonderful man in the whole wide world! Now, I'll admit he does have his short-comings (as evidenced by the fact that I'm speechless over receiving flowers - I never, ever receive flowers), but on the whole he's pretty darn spectacular. Today is our 2 year anniversary, and I am half proud (and have chagrined) to report that he remembered and I didn't. That's worth some pretty big points in my book.
And I'm at work, which makes it even cooler. :-) At 8:00, the flower shop downstairs brought me the most beautiful vase of flowers I've ever seen. A dozen pink roses, 4 lilac branches (Lilacs are my absolute favorites!), and a dozen other flowers that I think are an orchid, maybe. I need to look them up, because I'm not really sure. I'd take a picture, but the camera here has a dead battery and my retarded boss doesn't have the right charger, so I'll just have to remember to get a photo once i get them home tonight.
Okay, I need to get back to work, but I just HAD to share, because he made my night. :-)
OH, and while I'm at it... Go see "The Prince and Me" if you like romantic comedies. It was SOOOO fantastic. We went to see it last night, and I laughed, I cried, and I fell in love all over again. It was just... *happy sigh* It was great. I mean it. :-) (But it was not the inspiration for the flowers, I've been informed. He ordered those Tuesday, and we didn't see the movie until Wed.)
