He lives like, 10 minutes away from me.
He knows my dad.
I've only met him on occasion.
But yes. I know him.

I think I was either at the game he was supposed to hit his 3000th hit or else I was at the one where he actually did it. Or maybe it was just that all over the news and I watched it on TV. :shrug:
